About Me

Who Am I? Simply stated, I am me - no more, no less. Just like anyone else alive today, I am living life and trying to get through all of the changes the universe keeps throwing at me. Like many, the people in my life come to expect me to act, react, or think in certain ways. I always said expectations lead only to one thing - dissappointment. I’m sure when my loved ones and friends find this, they’ll be highly dissapointed. What they will find here will fly in the face of 37 years worth of Lithism’s.

I found this About me Questionnaire on The Katt Box and I have never seen such a great About Me page as Katt’s. So using some of her questions, I will share a little more of myself with you. Katt called this fluff on her site, I think’s it’s brilliantly insightful. Kudo’s Katt!!!

So here we go….About Me

What is your Motto? Why? - If I was meant to be limited I would have been born in a box. Why is it my motto? because it’s true damnit.

What are your strengths? - People who know me, if asked; would list various traits - they usually do and I usually disagree with them. If I have to state definitively what is my greatest strength - it would be that I am me. No matter what you see or hear from me, you are seeing and hearing me - nothing more, nothing less.

How would you like to die? - I want to die in one of the greatest - nearly unsolvable murder mysteries.

What would you have on your headstone? - Here Lies: you don’t know - do ya?

Which issue would make you want to become a politician? - None. Here is the deal. I am no politician. If I were voted into any office my objective would not be to get done what *I* want done. It would be to represent those who elected me. If they say vote this into law, that is what I’d do. If they (be majority of course)say don’t vote that way, then I don’t. I’d never be a politician for one reason, I’d represent the people - honestly and the people aren’t mature enough to take responsibility to lead those they put in office. People would rather elect the type of politician we see today, one who has their own agenda’s so people can blame said politician. Nope, no issue could make me a politician, only strong, brave, caring people……

Where would you like to retire? - I’ll never retire and those close to me know this. The day I retire is the day I die.

What is something you wish you were better at doing? - Absolutely nothing. I am as good or as bad at anything I attempt as I allow myself to be. I hate that because I must be responsible for my abilities, but fact remains it is truth.

Are babies cute? - Honestly? I have never seen a ‘cute” newborn. they are all kind of wrinkley or poof or red or something….. so no, not really.

What is your favorite shape? - a triangle

What book are you reading? - none. I am writing them.

What is the best photo you have ever taken? - the one I took of a homeless man in Capital Park in Denver, Co. It was black and white film and I caught four squirrels raiding the sleeping homeless man’s pockets. The world is pretty damn bad if animals start stealing your shit.

Describe yourself in five words. - Me. No more, no less

What is the oldest thing you own? - the gold bracelet my sons would have given me for mother’s day had they lived.

Who would you have liked to be? - I don’t have an answer -I’ve always been me - who else should I be?

What historical figure(s) do you most despise? - Absolutely none. I’m tired of a world where people think Good must prevail. Doesn’t anyone understand in order to see and recognize good, we must have “bad” too? Hitler, Stalin, all evil overlords served s purpose - refuse to despise them for that.

What natural gift would you most like to possess? - I possess all gifts the way I believe. Whether or not I am capable of using them is totally up to me.

Do you keep friends once you’ve made them? - I have never kept a single friend my entire life. I DON’T keep another person ever. You are a fool if you think you can. I refuse to be that fool. friends come, friends go, some stay longer then others - But I keep no one.

What is the best advice you have ever received? From Whom? - The best advice came in from my childhood mentor Grey. He taught me the meaning of FEAR. Foolishly Encouraging Assinine Rejection - I FEAR nothing!

Why do you blog? - Why Not- Right?

What are some things that make you nervous? - Anyone who looks up to me as if I am something…I’m not….I am just me….nothing more and definitely not someone to look up to.

Where will you be in Five years time? - Anywhere I put myself - Gawds help us all!

What is the furthest place you have traveled to? - define furthest…..today, to the front door.

Have you ever won a trophy? What for? - Yes - Extemporaneous Speaking - 1st place.

What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? - Blown up my mother - total accident but she never believed me.

What mesmerizes you? - Living and all of its intricacies

Name something about yourself that people don’t expect? - I am not arrogant

Describe what you consider to be the most beautiful view in the world. - the smile and eye contact made by an elderly husband and wife as they speak to each other through their silence.
