My NaNoWriMo History
I’ve been doing NaNoWriMo for over five years. This November will be my sixth attempted (and hopefully completed) NaNo Novel.
When I started in 2000, I had no idea what I was doing. I still don’t…hahahaha but the good thing about NaNoWriMo is you don’t have to “know” what your doing, you just have to write. Over the years, I’ve written alot - and as you might be able to tell by the titles below….that first novel was a doozy. Hopefully I progressed some….

Hopefully We’ll see a winner icon up where the 2006 participant Icon is.
I think the reason I shared this info here is to show something. NaNoWriMo isn’t about writing the prefect book. I mean my first one was about a bug named bart, and i wrote that because NO IDEA came to mind and there was a stinkbug living near my computer…..I stared at him alot as I begged the writing Gods to send me the perfect book plot. I ended up simply typing what I saw and noticed about Bart the stinkbug………. Gawd that first NaNo Novel SUCKED
BUT, I accomplished the goal 50K in 30 days and you can too! Don’t stress it just write it!
That’s my nano motto!
Good luck to everyone, we can do this!
